The care and attention to detail that Woolertons showed regarding our recent loss was exceptional. At a sad time they showed kindness and professionalism and we are very grateful. One small detail, amongst many I really appreciated, were the beautiful flowers on the casket, in our loved one’s favourite colour, and they even ensured the rose petals to place on the casket at the end were the same colour.

It is hard to put into words just how grateful we are to Woolertons for the way they looked after our whānau as we farewelled our dad.
From the very beginning, Tahlia was exceptional. She was calm, kind and incredibly professional, and we genuinely felt that she was walking alongside us every step of the way. When you are grieving and trying to make so many decisions, having someone you completely trust makes such a difference.
Around 350 people came to farewell Dad. The chapel couldn’t hold everyone, with people lining the walls and gathering outside, but nothing seemed to faze the Woolertons team. There was no panic or stress — they simply adapted and made it work. Most importantly, everyone still felt included and part of the farewell.
From the chapel, to the hearse, to the graveside, everything just flowed. There must have been so much happening behind the scenes, but we never had to carry any of it. They carried so much of the load without ever making us aware of just how much they were carrying.
Looking back, that was their greatest gift to us. On one of the hardest days of our lives, we didn’t have to organise, manage or worry. We just got to be Dad’s family.
There are some people you meet during the hardest moments of your life who you will always remember for how they made you feel. Tahlia and the Woolertons team are those people for us.
We will always be grateful that our dad’s final farewell was in their hands. ❤️

We are enormously grateful to everyone at Woolertons for the kindness, sensitivity and genuine care they showed our family at a time when events had been unexpected and profoundly upsetting.
From the beginning, they seemed to pitch everything exactly right for our circumstances. They helped us navigate all the necessary formalities gently, in our own home and at our own pace, without ever making us feel rushed or overwhelmed. Nothing was ever a bother, and every question or request was met with patience and understanding.
Most importantly, they made all of us feel included and listened to. There was a warmth and humanity in the way they cared for us that made an incredibly difficult time just that little bit easier to manage.
We could not have asked for kinder, more thoughtful or more compassionate people to guide us through it, and we would recommend Woolertons without hesitation.

We met again with Philip to finalize some aspects of our mother’s Funeral. He also has very professional , courteous and compassionate.
